SERVICE Excellent, friendly staff with big smiles.
AMBIANCE Lots of interesting historical details. Quite dark inside, but window tables available. Private booths on offer inside for those who prefer intimate spaces.
FOOD All-American style menu with options like Sloppy Joes, Buffalo Wings and Hot Dogs, all served in true “diner” style – plastic baskets and aluminium buckets. A little pricey for what you get.
DRINKS Standard bar selection with some American favourites.
FACILITIES Upstairs, downstairs and middle bars. Several drinking areas and stages for live music. DJs, bands and other interesting events.
EXTRAS Menus printed on giant floppy sheets of lino – a bit of a novelty, but pretty much the only good thing about the menu.

RECOMMENDATION Good for Friday/Saturday night drinks. Skip the food.
