ADDRESS 376 Smith St
SERVICE Excellent, with some Spanish-speaking staff who know the menu well.
AMBIANCE Light, airy, pub atmosphere, complete with jazz music and taxidermy bulls head.
FOOD Small tapes menu with limited options. However, all are delicious. Delicate, individual dishes served as needed, not all at once (a sign of thoughtful service). All reasonably priced.
DRINKS Good wine selection with standards as well as Spanish specialties.
FACILITIES Separate dining area out the back with à la carte menu. Well-priced meals, mainly Spanish influenced, but with some traditional Aussie options. Diverse range of desserts. All decent portions.
EXTRAS Great menu overview and not crowded. Pictures provide additional information on meats, with a map of Spain’s wine regions. Spanish happy hour 4-6pm daily, with a decent selection of drinks.
TOILETS Clean, stylish basins, and good length mirrors.
RECOMMENDATION Great all-rounder with family atmosphere but with a touch of sophistication. Suitable any night of the week.
